Got a question?
Here’s a list of the ones we get most often and others we should be getting.
Frequently Asked Questions
WMM gives your donors and those who don’t know how to help you financially, an opportunity to bless your ministry indirectly. They might be in a position to decide who will be doing their church’s sermon transcriptions or video subtitles or to recommend a language agency to their company. They will pay the same (or less) than they’re paying currently but know that you will be benefiting from it.
This list allows those who don’t know you but are prompted to help your kind of ministry to select it and assign their project donations to yours.
WMM is explicitly offering language services tailored for churches that might not feel called to share their content or preaching in a different language but who would like to extend the life of their sermons and Bible studies more widely online. Our transcription and video services are the best way to accomplish that goal.
But beyond churches or other ministries, our clients come from any industry. Most companies need to translate their content to grow their business at some point. Many of your donors and sponsors either own businesses or are in professional positions where they might need our services or recommend them to others.
We are very confident this is a real opportunity for your ministry as the services we provide are indeed, some of the most needed services now and in the foreseeable future.
According to the “The Language Services Market: 2018” report by Common Sense Advisory (CSA), the global market for outsourced language services and technology was around $46.5 billion in 2018 and is projected to reach $56.18 billion in 2021.
An industry market research report by IBIS World reveals that the Translation Services in the US have grown by 1.3% for the period 2013-2018 and reported a revenue of $5 billion for 2018. For the same period, the number of companies increased with 3.6% and employees raised their numbers by 4.8%.
This robust growth in recent years, placed the language service industry as the fourth-fastest growing and performing industry in the USA. The figures are confirmed by various research data. A report from the Center for Next Generation Localisation in Dublin puts language services as the fourth-fastest industry in the United States. A publication in azcentral based on data from the Quarterly Census of Employment and Wages from the Bureau of Labor Statistics reveals that Translation and Interpretation services occupy the fourth place in terms of growth for the past decade. Over the period between 2008 and 2017 employment growth rocketed by 111.3% and wage growth experienced an increase of 90.6%.
The forecast is, that language services will continue to be highly demanded all over the world as a result of the processes of globalization. In the USA alone, the growing diversity of the population and the business expansion to international trade are one of the factors that will support further growth in the industry.
What if my donor is a company and they don't want to use an agency with such an explicitly Christian outlook?
Our parent company is Accent Network, LLC. If your donor prefers to use a secular agency in their business, all they need to do is process their project requests through Accent Network. They can use your ministry code or get in contact with us before hand to let us know any requests coming from that company or department should be associated to your code. As seamless as that. Their colleagues will be professionally connected with Accent employees in any interaction.
In any case, all our projects will be invoiced as Accent Network as World Mission Media is a DBA of Accent.
The donor will be Accent Network, WMM’s parent company.
The church, ministry or company requesting our services will pay Accent/WMM for any invoiced amount as they would any other language agency.
Our company will then make a 10% donation to your ministry, once we get and process their payment.
Our main prices are posted publicly throughout this web page. We do not inflate them to cover for your donation. Our prices listed here are actually below normal market prices as we want to make sure our services are affordable to any one who needs them.
Your 10% will be sent the same month we receive payment from the client or within the next month’s disbursement if client pays at the end of the month.
If you already have a 501(c)(3) or similar organization in the US or Europe to receive your funds through, we will become a new donor to that organization. We will need bank details or an address where to send our check to.
You can request that we include that ministry in our list of approved recipients by filling out this form. We will process it ASAP. If you need your service urgently, make sure you request a quote now and when we ask for the Code, indicate you’ve already requested for it to be included and tell us the name of it.
